There’re three hotels on Bokor Mountain, with a few more planned.
Thansur Bokor Highland Resort opened in 2012. This is an international 3 star hotel & casino, with 4 and 5 star hotels on the way. Also, a water park, golf course, and several other activities planned. The hotel is right near the peak of the mountain, and 10 degrees Celsius cooler than in Kampot at the bottom of the mountain.

* Le Bokor Palace just opened in 2018 with spectacular views. One side you look at the valley at the top of the mountain, the other side is straight down from 1KM above the Bay of Cambodia, with views of Kampot, Kampot’s islands, and Phu Quoc Island in Vietnam. Rooms are from $300 to $1,300 a night here.

Other Than That….
Many people choose to stay at one of Kampot’s hotels, and go up the mountain for a day. From town, it’s about a 15 minute drive to the bottom of the mountain, and another 40 minutes up on a spectacular new road. Now along with the Old Abandoned Church, Casino and Waterfall, you can also dine at one of Thansur Bokor’s 3 restaurants, swim, gamble, relax at the spa, climb around the waterfalls, visit the hydroponics farm, or just trek around the mountain.
